We get asked the same questions a lot. To save you a phone call, here are answers to those frequently asked questions.

Why did you change your name?

When we first opened in 2014, we struggled to choose a name. Additionally, we didn’t really have a solid identity in mind. Out of necessity, we came up with Ration & Dram, but we never really loved it. Over the years, our surrounding neighborhood gave us an identity, and our love of Halloween slowly started to influence our permanent decor. If we were ever going to do it, it seemed like the pandemic was the perfect time to change our name. We choose Dead End Drinks as an homage to the dead end street that we reside on with our neighbors and as a nod to our decidedly spooky decor. If you loved the name Ration & Dram and don’t want to change it, by all means feel free to keep using it. We won’t correct you.

What else did you change?

Aside from our name and decor, everything else is the same. Our drinks, food, and style of service are all still the same. Same great product, fancy new packaging.

Do you take reservations?

We do not accept reservations. We are walk-in only and you are welcome to come in at any time that you like.

What is the largest party size you can seat at one table?

The largest party size we can seat at one table is 6 guests. Any party over 6 guests can be split up over multiple tables. Please be aware that while we do try our best to do so, we cannot guarantee that those two tables will be next to each other within a short time frame. As we only have 5 tables on our patio and 5 tables in our downstairs dining room, a longer wait for multiple tables next to each other may be required.

Can I bring my dog to your patio?

Our patio is dog-friendly if your dog is patio-friendly.

Is your patio covered?

Our patio is not covered, heated, or cooled. That means that whatever the weather is outside, that is the weather on our patio. Please plan accordingly.

How do I order food togo?

We prefer that you use our online ordering system here on our website to place your order. This method will not only give you the most up to date menu availability, but it will also allow us to quote you an accurate preparation time for you order. Click on any of the big orange buttons you see on our website to be directed to our online ordering. If you are having trouble with the online system, feel free to call us to place your order over the phone.

Why can’t I order brunch online?

Due to the volume of our brunch services, we are not currently able to offer online brunch ordering. You are welcome to call and ask to place an order. Call-in to-go orders are accepted at slower times in the service. Please be patient and understanding if we are not able to accommodate your request for a brunch to-go order at the time of your call.
